Halo 3 Question,

I just got a 360 and halo 3. I had a question. My friend and I beat a level, then we stopped playing, and I hit end game because there is no save and exit on multiplayer campaign (not online). So, when I get back home, i decided to continue playing on heroic instead of normal mode, at the start of the level after the one we beat. Will I still get the heroic and normal achievements for beating the game? Thanks for your help. Halo 3 Question,
In order to get the achievement for beating the game on Heroic you have to beat every level on Heroic.



So if you don't go back to that level, you wont get the achievement for beating it on Heroic, but you'll still get it for beating it on Normal. And if you want, once you beat the game you can go back to the first level and beat it on Heroic.

Thanks! So, you're saying I should beat the first level on heroic after I finish, in order to get the achievement? Seems easy enough. Also, the skulls are fun to get, but the Grunt Party Skull in ''Crow's Nest'' was impossible for me to get. I could not get it.
You can do that if you want. Or you can just go back now and beat it on Heroic. So long as you do it eventually, you're good.



And do you know where the skull is that your looking for? I know the locations of both skulls in that level. I can help you find them in co-op, or you can look it up on youtube. The locations of the skulls have been on youtube practically since the game came out.
I know where it is, I just try and fall into that part, but I always fall all the way down. It's hard to explain. Do you know what I'm trying to say?

Yeah, that was a little difficult.



When you drop down just try and sort of walk backwards while falling. Don't run off or anything. Just kind of slowly walk off so that you don't fall to far away from that area you're talking about. If you miss, just load up the last check point again.
Thanks for your help! How do you revert to last checkpoint? I remember you could do that in 1 and 2, but it just says revert to last save. I guess I'll just do that level on easy just to get the last skull.

Yes, just select revert to last save if you screw up on that skull.



Remember though that not every skull has an achievement, so if you pick one up and an achievement does not pop up, don't worry, you still got it.



And there is incentive on getting them all. You'll get the Katana armor variant.
I almost forgot to mention, you'll need to watch the first cut scene in the heroic difficulty too in order to get the achievement for beating the game in Heroic.



Same applies for Legendary if you ever try.



Alot of people forget to do that.

Only gold skulls have achievments, Skulls like 'Grunts Birthday Party' dont because thats a silver one
