quick launch and rented games?

I just have a quick question about the Quick Launch function on the NXE. Couldn't you technically rent a game from somewhere, download it into your hard drive, then return it? Wouldn't you be able to play your favorite games without actually having to pay much? Here are my actual questions though-Is this possible?-Would any features of the game be taken away? Thanksquick launch and rented games?
You still need the disc to play for copyright reasons.quick launch and rented games?
then what would be the point to installing a game in your hard drive?
With a lot of games the loading times are faster, the disc drive is quieter, in game texture pop-ups are less, or non existent.
Oh, thanks then.

there are a number of reasons eg. making the xbox quiter, faster load times etc.
