I have Mass Effect, and I love it. I was just wondering if Fallout 3 or Fable 2 are as good if not better that Mass Effect. If either of them are as good as Mass Effect was, than I'll have to buy them.Mass Effect vs. Fallout 3 vs. Fable 2
I actually don't think they are as good as Mass Effect, but they are still great RPGs nonetheless.Mass Effect vs. Fallout 3 vs. Fable 2
Mass Effect has its own flavour to it that all BioWare RPGs share, so if you're looking for a similar experience to Mass Effect I would reccommend looking into BioWare's older games. Knights of the Old Republic and Jade Empire are excellent RPGs if you haven't already played them.
I haven't played Fallout 3 or Fable 2, but I've played Oblivion and it definitely shares things in common with BioWare's stuff. Bethesda's games tend to be a lot more open and give you more freedom, so if you think you'll enjoy that then definitely give Fallout 3 a shot.

Fallout 3 is brilliant and is 100x better than Mass Effect.I haven't played Fable 2 yet so I can't comment on that.

A post-apocalyptic game is more unique than a politically charged sci-fi universe that deals with xenophobia and genocide? That's an interesting perspective on what's unique.
Haven't played Fallout 3 but Mass Effect in my personal opinion is one of the greatest experiences in gaming. I honestly thought everything about the game was perfect minus the technical issues, the length and the lack of side-quests. As for Fable 2, it was a great game that I think would have surpassed mosts expectations had it been longer -- it was so damn short that it felt like you really didn't get the chance to fully enjoy everything.

[/QUOTE] I totally agree with you Mass Effect being awesome, some online co-op would have been what would make it IMO the best game on the 360, behind Call of Duty 4. Hopefully they can put that in Mass Effect 2 ( if it happens) and just up the graphics, the original graphics were awesome, but now the standard is higher, if they had some of the best graphics on the 360, I don't know why anyone would not own it.

well when you figure you just described the plot to both KOTOR 1 and 2, and The Halo series I think you'll see the irony in your sarcasm.
When's the last time you played a game where you woke up from a vault, restored clean water to the metro DC area using a FPS combat that mixes real time and turnbased combat in a totally unique way?
