On my computer I have to hardrives. One is the core drive or C drive but I don't have as much storage space so I keep it all inside an external hardrive so if my computer crashes I won't loose anything. So when I search for music on my computer with my xbox 360 it only finds the music on my core hard drive and not on my F drive or external hardrive. Is there anyway to fix this withought copying it to the C drive cause I have like 45 gigs of music.lxbox 360 won't find music on computer.
Make sure the drives are both plugged into your pc. Than open Windows Media PLayer and click Library(arrow)/ Add to Library. Than click advanced settings/ Add... Than find the external drive and add it. After you do so click ok. The transfer may take a while (45Gb!!) but that should work. BTW the external HD must be plugged into your PC to listen to the music/ vids...etc.
