live conection problem

hello i donwloaded the new nxe update and now i cant connect to live anymore when i do a test it says network:connected Internet:connected Xbox live:failed and ''Your consele is connected to the internet but can't contact xbox live'' and i have forwarded ports 88 and 3074 on my router.What is the problem?PLease HELPlive conection problem
First, see if you can connect with a direct connection to your modem. If that fixes it, try connecting back through your router. Call MS and your ISP if there are any problemslive conection problem
i tried i direct connection with my modem but it still dosent work and i also tried TWO isp none of them work can it be the 360 fault?do i have to buy a new one?

Pretty sure it would not be the 360's fault, and you do not have to buy a new one.



Try this:



1. Connect your 360 directly to your modem (not wirelessly)

2. Make sure your 360 is turned off.

3. Reset your modem and give it a few minutes before you turn your 360 back on.

4. Test your connection with your 360. Make sure your settings are default or automatic.



Does it give you the same error? If so, contact MS and explain what you did and what the error says.
